WATH ARE DRUGS?

A drug is a substance that can modify the thinking, sensation and emotions of the person who consumes it. The drugs have the ability to change the behavior of the person, as well as how it was
before consumption.
 
All drugs produce a risk when  consumed, and there is no type of drug that can be considered safe.

  What is drug addiction?

Is considered  a disease because it affects the physical, social and psychological aspects of the individual. An overdose or acute intoxication could occur when the body was injected with more substance that it was capable of metabolizing. This can produce a coma or even death.
 
 

Why were you using drugs?

Many individuals began the use of drugs for reasons that depend on the circumstances in which they were
 
1.- Curiosity
According  to the studies, curiosity is usually the protagonist of addictions; there are individuals who wanted to experiment, with certain drugs, based on wath they had heart about who they were feeling after having consumed it. Or the curiosity of  why they are prohibited.
 
This situation could be applied to adolescents.
 
 
2.- Pressures of life.
Some resorted to drugs, believing that they could be able to adapt to the problems or the stress they were presenting. They thought that drugs  was a good way to escape all their problems, but the truth is that their brains were controlled by drugs. 
These people were sure that they were going to feel good, relaxed, and that they were going to have an imaginary world temporarily.
 
3.- Promises to improve their performance.
There are drugs that serve as food suppluments and specialize in improving performance. A clear example are the asteroids. Its use not only makes the muscles bigger, it also reduces the pain so that the athletes can continue, even when they were hurt. However, they can put their lives at risk.
4.- Exposure to a drug addict.
 
If a person was exposed to a drug addict, he many have been taken to drug addiction.
 
5.- Easy access.
By having easy access to buy and consume drugs, individuals were more likely to get what they  manted  when they wanted to.
The drugs could have been bought in the streets, with a friend, a partner, a neighbor and even in the nearest pharmacy.
 

What are the consequences of using drugs?

1.- Physiological disorders.
Withdrawal syndrome, seizures, changes in heart rhythm, deterioration of the central nervous system.
2.- Physiological disorders.
Hallucinations, tendnies paranoicas, depression, neurosis.
 
 

3.- Deteriorarían and weakening of the will.
The drug addict becomes a slave to the drug, and does wathever it takes to get it.
